The Ark

I was asked to play the Ark's Openstage Showcase.

The night of the show, it was so encouraging to see who was in the audience.

In the midst of finals week, busy work schedules and church commitments, my best friends sat closest to the stage and cheered me on.

Additionally, many people from work showed up.  They had all given me tips for the 50 minutes I'd be onstage:  1. Invite the audience into your space, 2. Always thank (which is easy to do, but also easy to forget), and most importantly, 3. Drive on.

50 minutes of joy while on stage.  I couldn't stop laughing in between songs.
